The joy of cooking comes from an approach of understanding ingredients, mastering the basics, and just having fun from there. If you’re like Chef Caroline, this approach is both the beauty and the difficulty of the craft; it’s hard to make the same thing twice.
The purpose of this site is twofold; firstly, to introduce myself as a personal chef. Secondly, a place to force me to write down some of the stellar recipes that otherwise would be lost to the universe. I always say I’ll never make this again—— unless I write it down here!
After a decade-long career in the fast life of sports media working for clients including HBO, Nike and ESPN, Caroline took a brief detour in commercial real estate to attend culinary school. She enrolled in the Natural Gourmet Institute at the Institute for Culinary Education in New York City, and trained in nutrition and health-forward culinary arts. Her food is light but comforting, nourishing but deceivingly delicious. She cooks the way she likes to eat, and can accommodate any diet or dietary preference.
Caroline lives in Jersey City with her husband and dog, and happily travels anywhere in the Tristate area - or beyond- for your culinary desires.
